To our Charlotte office:
Directions from Airport:
- Take Airport Parkway to Billy Graham Parkway (Hwy. 521).
NOTE: In order to go South on Billy Graham Parkway, take right-hand exit off Airport Parkway. Go to 2nd stop light (West Blvd.).
- Turn left onto West Blvd. and proceed 5.5 miles to corner of Scott Avenue and East Blvd.
NOTE: West Blvd. becomes East Blvd.
- Turn left off East Blvd. onto Scott Avenue and proceed 6/10 of a mile to 2nd stop light (Scott becomes Kenilworth Avenue at intersection) to E. Morehead Street.
- Turn left onto E. Morehead Street.
- Go 1 block.
- 1110 E. Morehead Street (C.D. Spangler Construction Co. on building) is 2nd building in the 2nd block (next door to the Morehead Inn).
Directions Heading South on I-77:
- Cross I-85 and go approximately 3.5 miles to W. Morehead Street (Exit 10A).
- Turn left onto W. Morehead Street and proceed 1 3/4 miles to the C.D. Spangler building on right.
NOTE: W. Morehead St. becomes E. Morehead St. at North Tryon Street. On Morehead St. you will go through 7 stop lights. Spangler Bldg. is 1 1/2 block beyond the 7th stop light located at 1110 E. Morehead Street (2-story brick building next door to the Morehead Inn).
Directions Heading North on I-77:
- Proceed North on I-77.
- Take Exit 9B (1st exit) onto John Belk Freeway.
NOTE: there is no Exit 9A, only Exit 9 (long side ramp), 9B and 9C.
- Stay on John Belk Freeway to Exit 2A.
- Take extreme right hand lane on Exit 2A to Kenilworth Avenue.
- Turn right onto Kenilworth Avenue and go to 2nd stop light at E. Morehead St.
- Turn right onto E. Morehead Street and go 1 1/2 blocks.
NOTE: 1110 E. Morehead St. (C.D. Spangler Construction Co.) building is a 2-story brick building next door to the Morehead Inn.
Directions Heading South on I-85:
- Take I-85 South to I-77 South (Exit 38)
NOTE: On Exit 38 ramp, immediately get into the left lane in order to go South (left lane makes a complete horseshoe in order to go South). The right lane will lead you to I-77 North.
- Take I-77 South to W. Morehead St. ramp (Exit 10A).
- Turn left onto W. Morehead St. and proceed 1 3/4 miles to 1110 E. Morehead St. and turn right into our parking lot adjacent to our building.
NOTE: W. Morehead becomes E. Morehead at North Tryon St. On Morehead St. you will go through 7 stop lights. 1110 E. Morehead St. (C.D. Spangler Construction Co. is a 2-story brick building next door to the Morehead Inn) is 1 1/2 blocks beyond the 7th light.
Directions Heading North on I-85:
- Proceed North on I-85.
- Take Exit 34 (Freedom Drive).
NOTE: Stay in left lane until it intersects at Freedom Drive. There are two prior right turns off this exit.
- Turn right onto Freedom Drive.
- Go 2.1 miles to W. Morehead St.
NOTE: W. Morehead St. is the 4th stop light after you turn onto Freedom Drive.
- Turn left onto W. Morehead Street.
NOTE: W. Morehead St. becomes E. Morehead St. at North Tryon St.
- Go 2.1 miles to 1110 E. Morehead St. (C.D. Spangler Construction Co. - 2-story brick building) and turn right into our parking lot adjacent to the building.
NOTE: Not counting the stop light at the intersection of Freedom Dr. and W. Morehead St., you will go through 8 stop lights before reaching our building. Our building is 1 1/2 blocks past the McDowell St. intersection.
Directions from South Park:
- From the intersection of Sharon Road and Fairview Road, proceed 1.0 miles to the intersection of Sharon Road and Sharon Lane.
- Turn right onto Sharon Lane and go 1.1 miles to the intersection of Sharon Lane and Providence Road.
- Turn left onto Providence Road and proceed 2.1 miles to intersection of Providence Road and Queens Road.
NOTE: At this intersection, Providence Road goes right and Queens Road goes straight.
- Proceed 6/10 of a mile on Queens Road; at this point, Queens Road goes to the right and E. Morehead begins if you continue straight ahead.
- Proceed 8/10 of a mile (through 4 street lights) to 1110 E. Morehead (C.D. Spangler Construction Co. - 2 story brick building) which will be on your left just past the Morehead Inn. Turn left into our parking lot which is adjacent to the building.
Directions from Downtown:
- From downtown get to Church St. which is one block West of Tryon St. Turn left on Church St. and follow it until it deadends into Morehead St.
- Turn left onto Morehead St. and follow for about 1 3/4 miles.
- Our building is a 2-story brick building with C.D. Spangler Construction on outside of building.
- We are right next door to the Morehead Inn (a bed and breakfast hotel).
To our Chapel Hill office:
Directions from I-40 East:
- Take the NC-54 W exit (273) towards Chapel Hill.
- Turn right on NC-54.
- Turn right on Farrington Road.
- Go approximately 150 yards, and the office will be on your right.
- Wakefield is located at 5915 Farrington Road, Suite 201.
Directions from the airport traveling west:
- Follow the signs for I-40
- Take the I-40 West ramp toward Chapel Hill/Durham.
- Merge onto I-40 West.
- Take the NC-54 W exit (273A) towards Chapel Hill.
- Turn right onto Farrington Road.
- Go approximately 150 yards, and the office will be on your right.
- Wakefield is located at 5915 Farrington Road, Suite 201.
